The holiday season is known for gift giving, time with family, and enjoying large delicious meals with loved ones. The MEGAComfort team always looks forward to the holiday season and throughout the year, we work to give back to our employees in a multitude of interesting, important, and relevant ways.
We often talk and share information about workplace safety on our blog, and within social media. More importantly, we do more than talk, we walk the walk (in our MEGAComfort insoles of course). In an effort to start the holiday season off with a workplace safety activity we teamed up with the Red Cross of Canada for a level L, 7 hour CPR course.
Knowing CPR is valuable at any time of year. Our entire MEGAComfort team participated in this course and were excited to become more aware of safety measures we can all take to reduce any chance of accidents. CPR saves lives and requires immediate action. We wanted our employees to feel confident and properly trained in the event of an emergency.
The MEGAComfort team learned how to perform CPR and other critical skills essential for emergencies. These are skills our employees can take with them anywhere and everywhere they go.
